乔什·特兰克 （Josh Trank）算不上特别大牌的导演吧，但他的《超能失控》当年作为颠覆超级英雄题材的作品，也引发了很大的关注。如今特兰克是《新神奇四侠》电影的导演，同时还被认为是接续《星球大战；原力觉醒》的下一部《星球大战》电影的导演，不过最新官方确认了一条消息：特兰克将不再执导下部最新的星球大战电影。

官方发布的消息如下：

Josh Trank, who was attached to direct the second Star Wars Anthology film, has decided to depart the project.（乔什·特兰克将不再执导下一部星球大战电影）

Trank said, “After a year of having the incredible honor of developing with the wonderful and talented people at Lucasfilm, I’m making a personal decision to move forward on a different path.（特兰克说：“在与卢卡斯工作室这些才华横溢的人们一起工作的一年后，我作出了一个私人决定，就是选择另一条道路”） I’ve put a tremendous amount of thought into this, and I know deep down in my heart that I want to pursue some original creative opportunities. 以上的种种言辞虽然非常礼貌，但不难看出双方的矛盾：特可兰更希望制作原创内容（有传言说他希望演员不要看以前的星球大战电影，因为那会舒服人的发散思维），而卢卡斯工作室对风格甚至剧情的把控非常严格，双方的冲突也就难以避免了。因此在《Hollywood Reporter》（地址点我）这样的媒体口中，这件事就说得比较实在了。

不过这样也好，今年才30岁的特可兰还有大把时间去继续他的导演之路，而接下来《新神奇四侠》的创作对他来说是更重要的工作。
